The Asia Cup in 2018 was organized from September 15-28 in UAE and 6 teams participated in it with Afghanistan and Hong Kong as the new entrants to the tournament. His words came true when India eventually beat Bangladesh in the Final of Asia Cup 2018 on the last ball in a thrilling encounter. Immediately after the result, Mishra tweeted that he was correct in predicting that India would Asia Cup under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy.
